Fresno State CineCulture and Fresno Filmworks present a screening of “The Double” at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 11 at the Tower Theatre. The 93-minute comedy “evokes 1950s noir with lots of smoke, shadows and grit” as it follows an underappreciated young man who comes face-to-face with his doppelganger and watches helplessly as that man steals his life without anyone else noticing. The movie co-stars Wallace Shawn, Noah Taylor and Cathy Moriarty. Tickets are $10 for general public and $8 for students and seniors and can be purchased by check or cash at the Tower Theatre box office (815 E. Olive Ave).
