The 2014 Art of Life program at Fresno State invites cancer survivors to share their stories on canvas in a project that pairs them with local artists to create original works for a year-long public display. A special unveiling of the final work is set for Sept. 28 on campus. The deadline to apply is Aug. 4. The project seeks 100 survivors for the program that will run Aug. 7- Sept 5. The participants are paired in teams with an artistic director to create an original work of art for the display. All ages are encouraged to sign up for the project that is co-sponsored by the Smittcamp Family Honors College, the Department of Political Science and California Oncology of Central California.
