The exhibit “Rollin Pickford: An Artist and His Collectors” runs through Jan. 16 in the Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery (Madden Library 2nd floor, north wing). The free, public exhibition showcases watercolors by Rollin Pickford, assembled from the private collections of 21 families and companies. Visitors have a rare opportunity to see these never-before-exhibited works and learn about Pickford’s life as a man and as an artist. Also on display are some of Pickford’s journals, where he often described his watercolors as he was in the process of painting them. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday 1 – 5 p.m.; and Sunday 2 – 5 p.m. INFO: 559.278.2595.
