Fresno State and the Central Valley Health Network will hold workshops from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Dec. 2 and 4 to provide students and families with education and enrollment information about Covered California’s health insurance system under the Affordable Care Act. The Dec. 2 session will be held in the Fresno State Public Health Department (McLane Hall, J-wing, room 15). The Dec. 4 meet will be in the Student Health and Counseling Center. Both workshops are presented by the CSU Health Insurance Education Project of Public Health, part of a statewide project taking place during the open enrollment period Nov. 15 – Feb. 15. Students can learn about Covered California and new opportunities to access insurance so they are able to discuss it with their families. Additional sessions will be held Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, also in the health center.
