The 8th annual “Caroling for Cans” campaign to collect non-perishable food items for the residents of the El Dorado Park community began Dec. 1 and culminates with the annual campus caroling by student leaders from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, Dec. 11. Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) is partnering with El Dorado Park to help the neighborhood combat food insecurity over the holiday season. Donation boxes are located throughout campus, including at the Starbucks inside the Henry Madden Library, the University Student Union Lounge and the Fresno State Police Department lobby. For the caroling event, students will travel around campus picking up the donated cans and stopping in various offices to sing holiday carols to thank donors.
