Fresno State’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration and Garlanding will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 20 in the Peace Garden at Fresno State, where the community may express their feelings toward this year’s theme, “How Are You Living the Dream for Humanity, Yourself, Your Country, Your World?” Speakers include Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro and Dr. DeAnna Reese, African Studies Chair. Performances by campus and community members also will be presented. The event is presented by the by the Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute.
