The San Joaquin Review journal, a student-run publication that supports all forms of literature and art, is seeking submissions for its 2015 issue. Founded in 1963, the San Joaquin Review has annually published the work of Fresno State students and faculty, as well as alumni who still consider Fresno their home. Previous contributors have included the late Philip Levine, Sherley Anne Williams, Lawson Fusao Inada, Liza Wieland, Peter Everwine, Steve Yarbrough and more. Graduate students in the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing serve as staff for the journal, which is published by the Department of English. Submissions from students, faculty and alumni in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction and visual art will be accepted through March 15. For details or to submit, contact Tanya Nichols at sanjoaquinreview@gmail.com or 559.278.2467.
