Workshop offers GIS training, discount for staff/faculty

The Community and Regional Planning Center (CRPC) at Fresno State is offering a two-day workshop GIS in city and regional planning, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. March 30-31. The workshop will introduce core concepts and basic GIS techniques found useful in planning practices such as mapping, data collection and process, and spatial analysis. The workshop is $500 for the public and $350 Fresno State staff and faculty. Dr. Hongwei Dong, an assistant professor in urban studies, will lead the workshop.
