The Bulldogs in the Kitchen program will get under way from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16 and April 20-21 in in the Family and Food Science Building kitchen lab at Fresno State. Dietetic students under the direction of Dr. Lisa Herzig, professor in the Food Science and Nutrition department, provide student-athletes with hands-on education on cooking, food safety and nutrition. At the end of the activity, athletes leave with a “playbook” of knowledge regarding proper nutrition, recipes, food handling procedures and safety.
