The documentary “Frontline: Being Moral,” a free, public screening at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business Building) at Fresno State, confronts a growing national dialogue on the reality of death and those suffering from serious illness. Presented by the College of Health and Human Services gerontology program, the documentary explores the complex issues that doctors, patients and hospice professionals face when having end-of-life-discussions. A panel following the screening will feature partners from Hinds Hospice and the local chapter of the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California, an event sponsor. Also co-sponsoring is the new California State University Institute for Palliative Care at Fresno State. INFO: Dr. Helen Miltiades, Social Work Dept. professor, at 559.278.7523.
