Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro will host a free Community Conversation in Visalia to hear comments and answer questions about the University from 12:30-2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the Ponderosa Lecture Hall at College of the Sequoias (915 S. Mooney Blvd, directly behind the COS Theater). A box lunch will be provided for the first 150 guests who RSVP and commit to attend at fresnostate.edu/presidentrsvp using the code “COSForum.” The deadline to RSVP is Oct. 30. Dr. Stan Carrizosa, COS president, will host Castro and members of his cabinet for this Tulare County residents’ event. Dr. Lynnette Zelezny, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, and Jim Bartko, Fresno State director of athletics, will provide updates about academics and athletics rising together at Fresno State.
