The Department of Mathematics will present a discussion on “The Mathematics of Dating, Courtship and Marriage” led by Dr. Peter Tannenbaum from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in the Peters Business Building (Room 192). Tannenbaum, a professor emeritus of mathematics, will examine how mathematics can be a useful tool to navigate dating and how to find the best partner. Tannenbaum’s areas of expertise and interest include algebra, coding theory, combinatorics, mathematical politics and weighted voting games.
