The “Let’s Talk #Immigration Student Forum will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Fresno State, featuring keynote speaker Arturo Rodriquez, president of the United Farm Workers, and Raul Moreno, director of the University’s Dream Resource Center. The free, public event will be in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center in the Student Recreation (Shaw and Woodrow avenues). It will include a panel of experts discussing the current state of immigration and how it impacts families and students in the Central Valley. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission, the event is presented by the Dream Outreach Center, Radio Campesina, Fresno EOC, United Farm Workers and Education and Leadership Foundation.
