Fresno State’s Armenian Studies Program presents two free, public lectures in January. At 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, best-selling author Chris Bohjalian will speak about his new book, “The Guest Room,” in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center Auditorium (west end of the Save Mart Center). At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, Dr. George Bournoutian, senior professor of Middle Eastern and East European history at Iona College of New York, will present the lecture, “Iran’s Mission of Apology to Russia” in the Alice Peters Auditorium at the Peters Business Building (room 191).
