The opening reception for the “Discovering Kristin Saleri” exhibition will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, in the Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery and Pete P. Peters Balcony Gallery of the Henry Madden Library at Fresno State. The free, public event will include appearances by the artist’s family, Dr. Peter McDonald, dean of library services, and the exhibition’s planning committee. The reception will also feature a preview of the retrospective exhibition of Saleri’s artwork. Saleri was a pioneering 20th century artist of Armenian heritage who lived in Istanbul.
