About 2,000 Fresno State students, faculty and staff volunteers will try to help meet a goal of $550,000 for this year’s Kid’s Day fundraiser on March 8.

The campus effort in the valley-wide drive is led  by the Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning and supported by many student organizations including the Associated Students, Inc.

The annual drive to benefit Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera brings the campus to life as student clubs vie to sell the most newspapers. The Fresno State student club or organization with 19 members or fewer that raises the most money for Valley Children’s on Kid’s Day will win $200 in club funding from the ASI Activities Committee, said President Abigail Hudson, student body president.

ASI encourages you to volunteer or purchase a newspaper Tuesday to make a difference for the patients at Valley Children’s Hospital. See ASI press release.
