The Sport Psychology Club at Fresno State will host its fourth annual Super Fun Super Run 5K at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at the North Gym 118, to kick-off the FresCon comic convention on campus this weekend. FresCon begins shortly after the run at 10 a.m. in North Gym 118. For the run, participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero. In addition to top race finishes, prizes will also be awarded for best costume. The Sport Psychology Club is based out of the Department of Kinesiology. Proceeds from the run will support the club’s annual Mental Skills Training Camp for local high school athletes. Also, this year the club is serving as a Wounded Warrior Project Student Ambassadors, with half of the proceeds raised being donated back to that project. Registration for the 5K will begin at 6:30 a.m. in front of the North Gym (Barstow and Campus Drive). The 5K is open to all ages, with $10 pre-registration by March 11.
