Fresno State’s Department of Biology presents guest speaker Dr. David Bermudes from California State University, Northridge at 3 p.m. Friday, March 11, in the Science 2 building Room 109. Bermudes, who received his Ph. D. from Boston University, will discuss “The Therapeutic Potential of Tumor-Targeted Salmonella.” His CSUN lab is exploring the mutations in salmonella that invade tumors to identify which strains can serve as anticancer agents.
