Students can learn about safe sex, earthquake preparedness and take a Safe Celebrating Pledge to celebrate graduation responsibly at the Fresno State Health PAWS Spring Wellness Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today (April 20), in the University Dining Hall. It’s part of the Safe Celebrating Campaign by Fresno State’s Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Safety Council designed to tackle the issue of substance abuse at graduation time. Commencement events at Fresno State are May 20 and 21. The campaign includes a Communities Talk Town Hall discussion at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the Smittcamp Alumni House courtyard and two safe celebration events next month: the class of 2016 Bulldog Stadium Celebration May 12 and the Bulldog Grad Walk May 21 prior to commencement.
