Free tickets for the upcoming campus lecture by Dr. Temple Grandin will be available to the public between 9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 1 through 4 at the Gibson Farm Market (5368 N. Chestnut Ave.). The world-famous animal welfare expert will speak at 10:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at the Satellite Student Union and will also sign books at 10 a.m. at the same location. Her presentation will focus on animal welfare and consumer concerns, and copies of 10 books that she has written on animal genetics, welfare, livestock handling and other topics will be on sale. Remaining tickets will be available the morning of the event at the Satellite Student Union. Her visit is sponsored by the Fresno State Animal Welfare Club.
