Alumnus Eric Santos, CEO of Benchmark Intelligence, will be the keynote speaker for the Take a Student to Eat (TASTE) Luncheon at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Pardini’s Catering and Banquet. Presented by the Fresno Advertising Federation (FAF) and coordinated by students in the Public Relations Campaign class of the Media, Communications and Journalism Dept. TASTE pairs MCJ students with professionals from various Fresno and Clovis media agencies for a day of mentoring, networking and experiencing what their professional lives will entail after college. It begins at 9 a.m. with students meeting their mentors before the networking luncheon where Santos will talk about how networking and collaboration played an important the role in his career. A 2011 Fresno State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the Craig School of Business, Santos founded Benchmark Intelligence in 2015, and his team has since taken on clients like Me-N-Ed’s and Deli Delicious. Their product allows restaurant and retail chains to monitor performance and discover new ways to improve customer satisfaction.
