Fresno State Feb. 24 and March 3 — 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Farmworker leaders known as “Las Lideres Campesinas” will be featured at Fresno State 10 a.m-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 and March 3, in the Kremen building (Room 172).

In the two-day workshop, students will learn about performing and language arts, social sciences and ethnic studies. They will also help write plays about social issues affecting rural and farmworker communities while learning how to conduct culturally competent outreach, education and empowerment work.

The free, public event is sponsored by the Anthropology department. Parking is $3 for a day permit from dispensers at the Maple Avenue entrance kiosk (north of Shaw across from Kremen).
