Fresno State Student Success Summit Spring 2017

Fresno State students, faculty and staff will convene from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the Satellite Student Union  for the Student Success Summit with the theme “Your Role in Student Success.”

The focus will be the shared responsibility and joint collaboration of students, faculty and staff to continue advancing the University’s mission of boldly educating and empowering students for success. 

Keynote speaker Dr. Laura Rendon, nationally recognized education theorist from the University of Texas in San Antonio, will discuss working with student strengths and the theory of validation.

Motivational speaker and Fresno State alumnus Ramsey Jay Jr., the inaugural Executive-in-Residence for the Craig School of Business at Fresno State who was recently hired to serve as Southern California regional director for the Division of University Advancement, will close the event with a message on encouraging others to live their best lives without fear and limitations. 

The event is hosted by the divisions of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and is open to faculty, staff and students.
