Dr. Larissa Mercado-Lopez, women’s studies professor at Fresno State, will discuss “Who Gets to Tell Our Stories? Diversity, Representation and Latinas in Film and Television” at 3 p.m. Friday, April 28, in the Kremen Education building (Room 54). The lecture is part of the University’s ongoing Diversity Week activities. Mercado-Lopez will discuss the politics of how Latinas are represented in film and television. The event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Student Involvement Office and the Cross Cultural and Gender Center.
