The Fresno State Community Health Mobile Unit is back for the fall 2017 semester to provide free health services to the community. The first stop will be at the Cutler-Orosi Family Education Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5 (40802 Rd. 128). Residents can receive diabetes and blood pressure screenings, plus health assessments, education and referrals. Free flu shots, for ages 4 and up, are available and limited to the first 50 individuals. The unit, coordinated by Fresno State nursing faculty and students, will travel to various rural communities in Fresno County this year, offering free health services to those who do not have readily available access to health care.
