Akira Ichioka, the Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco, will give a presentation on Tokyo from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29, in the University Business Center at Fresno State (Peters building, Room 191). A reception will follow the presentation. The presentation will offer an in-depth look into Tokyo, a city with a unique blend of tradition and modernity, by introducing various aspects of its society, culture and history. The presentation will also inform the audience of the vision and ongoing preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Games. This program is sponsored by the College of Arts and Humanities at Fresno State, the Department of Linguistics and the Japanese Program. This event is free and open to the public.
