The Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State will hold its ninth annual Welcome Back BBQ for 800 new and returning fall 2017 engineering and construction management students from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, outside the Engineering East building. Participating students can meet representatives of 50 Valley businesses such as Faraday Future, a luxury electric car maker that recently signed a lease to develop cars in the old Pirelli Tire building in Hanford by the end of 2018.
