Fresno State’s Constitution Day 2017 at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, in the North Gym 118 will feature several high level judges discussing “Courts and the Constitution” and the role of the courts at their respective levels. Scheduled to attend the free, public forum presented by the College of Social Sciences are justices Herbert Levy and Rosendo Pena Jr., from the Fifth District Court of Appeal; Judge Kimberly Gaab, presiding judge for the Fresno County Superior Court; and Magistrate Judge Erica Grosjean of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. They will talk with students about careers in the judiciary and encourage more young lawyers to stay in the Valley and support local needs.
