University Statement:
Today, the Fresno Police Department responded to a medical aid call near Bulldog Lane and Millbrook Avenue. The individual, who is enrolled as a Fresno State student, was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The student’s name is not being released at this time, pending family notification.
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic news, and our hearts are broken for the student’s family and friends,” said University President Joseph I. Castro.
The Fresno Police Department is leading the investigation and handling all inquiries.
