CineCulture will present “A Billion Colour Story” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, in the Peters Education Center Auditorium at the Student Recreation Center (5010 N. Woodrow Ave.). The post-screening discussion will be led via Skype by Padmakumar Narasimhamurthy, writer and director of the film, along with Joan K. Sharma, a Fresno State art and design professor. Shot in black and white, the film takes place in India, a land filled with high hopes and ideals during a time of religious divide. Smart, curious and tech-savvy 11-year-old Hari Aziz makes sense of intolerance and prejudice as his parents struggle to support their family in modern-day India. “A Billion Colour Story” is 105 minutes long. All CineCulture films screened on campus are free and open to the public. Parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays. INFO: Dr. Mary Husain at mhusain@csufresno.edu.
