The Leon S. Peters Ethics Lecture Series continues with “Restorative Justice: A Solution to the School to Prison Pipeline?” panel from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Peters Education Center inside the Student Recreation Center.

The interdisciplinary panel members include: Professor Tinneke Van Camp, Department of Criminology; Chief Joe Garza, Reedley Police Department; Lt. Marc Ediger, Reedley Police Department; Jake Harder, West Coast Mennonite Central Committee and Reedley Peace Building Initiative; Erica Hassenbeck, Restorative Practices Manager, Department of Prevention and Intervention at Fresno Unified; Professor Marcus Shaw, Department of Criminology; and Arnold Trevino, Fresno State masters in social work student and Project Rebound student assistant.

The event is co-sponsored with the Department of Criminology, Peace and Conflict Studies and Mediator Mentors. Parking is $4 in lots P3, P2, or P5.
