University Theatre presents the Fresno premiere of “Book of Days,” written by Lanford Wilson and directed by J. Daniel Herring. Performances run from March 22 to March 30, at the Dennis and Cheryl Woods Theatre in the Speech Arts Building.

The play focuses on the small town of Dublin, Missouri, which is dominated by three institutions: a cheese plant, a fundamentalist church and a community theatre. When murder roars through the town, Ruth Hoch begins her own quest to find truth and honesty amid small town jealousies, religion, greed and lies.

Tickets are $17 for adults; $15 for Fresno State faculty, staff, alumni and military; and $10 for all students. Children under 5 will not be admitted.
