Fresno State’s Henry Madden Library and Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) will join over 2,000 partners nationwide in hosting a National Voter Registration Day 2019 event in the library lobby as part of a massive 50-state effort to register thousands of voters.  From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, through Friday, Sept. 27, student volunteers and library staff will give the campus community an opportunity to learn about voter registration, update their current registration details and register to vote if they qualify.

National Voter Registration Day, a national movement celebrating democracy by encouraging people to vote, is on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The tables in the Henry Madden Library lobby will be staffed with computers, forms and knowledgeable volunteers to help individuals register to vote or to find out more about upcoming elections.

National Voter Registration Day is a nonprofit, nonpartisan endeavor to increase participation in the upcoming 2019 and 2020 elections by encouraging Americans to register to vote and make their voices heard at the ballot box.
