The Fresno State Symphonic Band invites the community to attend its first concert of the school year under the direction of Steven McKeithen at 8 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the Concert Hall. The band will perform works by contemporary and classic composers Kevin Putts, Jack Wilds, Morten Lauridsen, Robert Buckley and Fisher Tull. Tickets are $10 general, $8 employees and seniors and $5 students. Parking is $5 in Lot P1.
