Fresno State’s Transportation Institute and Fresno Council of Governments will host the Transportation Innovations Summit from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Elite Event Center (4105 W. Figarden Drive, Fresno, CA). The event is designed to provide an opportunity for residents, professionals and stakeholders to become familiar with the latest in advanced, clean transportation technology.

Keynote speakers include founder of Afreecar LLC, Dr. Christopher Borroni-Bird; commissioner of the California Transportation Commission, Paul J. Van Konynenburg; and senior adviser for Economic Development and Transportation of the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, Egon Terplan. Industry experts and Fresno State faculty from the Lyles College of Engineering, Craig School of Business, College of Social Sciences and Kremen School of Education and Human Development will present their knowledge and research of clean and efficient transportation options during the breakout sessions held throughout the day.
