Students from Fresno State, area junior colleges and high schools can RSVP to hear from leading agricultural industry speakers and network at the Jordan College of Agricultural Science and Technology’s inaugural Aspire to Grow Conference 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the Resnick Student Union. The Nutrien-sponsored event is free to attend and also open to industry supporters and alumni. The six accomplished professionals discussing industry innovation, topics and opportunities include:

  • Ben Alfi (founder/CEO, Blue White Robotics).
  • Samuel Fairbanks (community outreach specialist, Fresno State WET Center).
  • Issa Qandah (technical sales manager, FMC Corporation).
  • Yvonne Sams (vice president of sales and marketing, Flory Industries).
  • Annie Stuhr (senior vice president/agri-business market manager, Central Valley Community Bank).
  • Blong Xiong (state executive director, USDA California Farm Service Agency).
