The School of Nursing will host the Health Care Careers Exploration Summit from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, April 30, at McLane Hall, Room 180. The interactive workshop will allow participants to learn about careers in health care and explore the educational opportunities available for each pathway.
Professionals in the field will speak about their experience, including those in nursing, anesthesiology, dental hygiene, kinesiology, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, social work, and speech-language pathology. The event is made possible through a grant from the Department of Health Care Access and Information and is free to students, alumni and the community, including those in middle and high school.
