Hosted by the Black Student Success Initiative and the Office of Black Student Success, the 2023 Super Saturday: Black College and Career Summit will highlight student services and community resources available to K-12 students and their families as they prepare for higher education. Super Saturday will take place from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 28  at the Satellite Student Union. 

Speakers for the event include: 

  • Dr. Kent Willis, vice president of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, (keynote)
  • Dr. Rashanda Booker, university diversity officer of Equity and Engagement.
  • Dr. Xuanning Fu, provost and vice president of Academic Affairs.
  • Terree Stevenson, dean of students.
  • D’Aungilique Jackson, program assistant for the Office of Black Student Success Program Assistant.
  • Sade Johnson, program director for the Black Student Success Initiative.
  • Michael Blathers, assistant coordinator for African American Programs and Services.
