A couple of popular Fresno State summer camps still have space for additional enrollment, giving youth a chance to learn and have fun this summer while experience the Fresno State campus.
College of Science and Mathematics — Summer Academy in STEM
For children in grades 4 through 12, this camp offers three sections:
- Elementary school STEM concepts: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 16 to 20, youth ages 9-11.
- Middle school STEM concepts: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 16 to 20, youth ages 11-14.
- High school STEM concepts: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 16 to 20.
The cost is $285 before May 15; $300 after May 15.
Throughout the week, students will dive into engaging science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities. Through hands-on projects and collaborative learning, they’ll explore mathematical concepts. This year’s activities will focus on building models to investigate wind energy.

Jordan College — Kids ag camp
For childre ages 7 to 12, this camp offers three sessions:
- Session 1: 8 a.m. to noon, June 9 to 13, youth ages 10-12.
- Session 2: 8 a.m. to noon, June 16 to 20, youth ages 10-12.
- Session 3: 8 a.m. to noon, June 23 to 27, youth ages 10-12, youth ages 7-9.
The cost is $150 (youth may sign up for only one session).
Youth can experience one of the largest, most successful agriculture programs in the country and go behind-the-scenes for student-run operations that include orchards, vineyards, vegetable and row crops, livestock units, dairy, the farm market and more.
Led by Fresno State agricultural students, 30 youth will take part each week in hands-on, farm, food and agriculture activities that emphasize art and education.
