A free, one-day summit to discuss building a clean energy economy in the Central Valley will be held at Fresno State from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, in the North Gym (Room 118). At the event titled “Unlocking Renewables: A Summit on Renewables in the San Joaquin Valley,” participants will discuss the Valley’s biofuel, renewable and energy storage potential as well as transmission, rebates and workforce training opportunities.
