Fresno State hosts 50th annual FFA cotton contest Saturday

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at California State University, Fresno will host the 50th annual California State FFA Cotton Judging contest on Saturday, Nov. 3.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Agricultural Sciences Building.

FFA members will compete for state champion titles at the individual and team levels. Organizers expect approximately 100 students from across the state to participate in these career development events.

The college, along with the FFA Field Day Committee, organizes more than 20 contests a year that approximately 2,500 students attend.
