California State University, Fresno will celebrate Africana Culture Night from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, in the Satellite Student Union.

The event recognizes African Americans and black citizenship in the United States

Ise Lyfe, one of the nation’s premier spoken-word artists and emcees, an educator, grassroots organizer and role model, will perform.

Also on the program are art, drama and music and entertainment by several groups, including BDX and U.N.I.T.Y.

The event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in Lot P.
