Fresno State’s junior varsity Debate Team won the Western Championship Tournament Mar. 8-10 at Sacramento State. The two-student team of Candis Tate and Sierra Holley defeated Arizona State. They also earned speakers awards, placing in the top ten. Tate is a fourth year communications major from Inglewood and Holley is a senior Political Science major from Fresno.
