The 23rd Annual First Nations Fresno State Powwow from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, April 12 will be preceded by a “Native Family Educational Gathering” from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, April 11. The first-day gathering will be in the Satellite Student Union and is open to youth in grades 6-12 and parents by registering free online.  Saturday’s powwow, free and open to the public, will be outdoors, west of the Satellite Student Union. The Grand Entry starts at 12:30 p.m. The family event will feature Native American arts and crafts and food vendors (alcohol and drugs are prohibited, no pets please).
