Fresno State mass communication and journalism professor Betsy Hays was selected as one of the top 10 outstanding faculty members from more than 110 nominees by Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity chapters across the United States and Canada. This is the third year the fraternity has recognized faculty members who have a passion for inspiring students and demonstrate actions that connect to Theta’s values of intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, commitment to service and personal excellence. Hays is one of 14 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) members to be inducted into the organization’s College of Fellows and was also selected as the associate director for the university’s Coleman Fellows Program this year.
