Steven Church, a founding editor and nonfiction editor of the nationally recognized literary magazine “The Normal School,” reads at 7 p.m. Friday (Jan. 30) in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business building, Room 191). Church is the James and Coke Hallowell Professor of Creative Writing at Fresno State. His fourth essay collection, “Ultrasonic,” is available now, and a book-length essay is due in 2016. “The Normal School” magazine is published by The Press at California State University, Fresno. The reading is the second in the Spring 2015 Reading Series hosted by the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing at Fresno State and the Fresno Poets’ Association.
