The fifth annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid event workshop sponsored by Univision and the Fresno County Office of Education will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.14 at eight locations throughout the Central Valley including Fresno State’s Kremen Education and Human Development. Bilingual staff from Fresno State’s Outreach and Financial Aid offices will help families complete financial aid forms, including FAFSA and the California Dream Act application. Students must bring their Social Security card (if applicable); driver’s license (if applicable); parents’ 2014 Federal Income Tax return (if student is a dependent); and FAFSA pin number if they have already registered for the 2015-16 school year. Students will need financial information from 2014. The Fresno State location will also host information booths to help students and families with financial planning, including representation from Wells Fargo, PG&E, scholarship information and other local agencies.
