Common Threads luncheon to honor six women in agriculture

The 19th annual Common Threads luncheon will recognize six San Joaquin Valley women at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at the University Courtyard Dining Hall at Fresno State.

The 2015 Common Threads Award recipients are Sally Dudley Baker of Woodlake, Izetta Agnew Camp of Bakersfield, Karen Morais of Fresno, Judith Peracchi of Fresno, Carol Rollin of Riverdale and Kathy Sargent of Hanford.

The award recognizes women from Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced and Tulare counties for their agricultural, philanthropic and community service.

Net proceeds raised from the luncheon support the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation, Ag One Foundation and charities of the honorees’ choice.

The event will feature award-winning Fresno State wines, a raffle and award presentation.

Common Threads is a collaborative effort of California Agricultural Leadership Foundation, Fresno State’s Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and the Ag One Foundation.
