Free tickets for the nationally-televised “Fight for Water 5,” headlined by undefeated U.S. Olympian boxer and Fresno State alumnus Jose Ramirez, will be given to attendees of two events today and tomorrow (Dec. 3 and 4) leading up to the fight at 6  p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at the Save Mart Center. The first event is the “Fight for Water 5” official press conference at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 at Maya Cinemas (3090 E. Campus Pointe Dr.) in Fresno. Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro will join Ramirez and representatives of the California Latino Water Coalition, co-sponsor of the event. The press conference will also feature a surprise guest. The second event is the official weigh-in at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4 at Bobby Salazar’s Restaurant (725 E. Olive Ave.) in Fresno. “Fight for Water 5” is presented by Top Rank, the California Latino Water Coalition and the Nisei Farmers League.
