Fresno State Talks ends Feb. 24: Shapiro on ‘interconnected forces’

The Fresno State Talks lecture series culminates at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, with Dr. Martin Shapiro, professor of psychology, on “Elephants, Glowing Mice and Flying Robots: Interconnected Forces Shaping the World” in the Satellite Student Union (5280 N. Jackson Ave). The event opens with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Shapiro is the final of three faculty members featured this semester who were nominated and selected by students for the series. Their lecture topics exemplify the University’s values of discovery, diversity and distinction. Hosted by Student Involvement, the talk is free and open to the public.
